The Family Museum is home to New Blues and Old Blues, the arts-based preschool program that strives to build an enduring love of learning in children. Spanning the traditional school year, New and Old Blues are whole-child focused comprehensive early childhood programs, designed to prepare your child for success in future formalized learning endeavors. Our exceptional teachers utilize a variety of teaching techniques to bring out the best in each individual child. Students will experience the visual arts, science, math, literacy, character education, music, and dance every week. Our balanced approach to academics, art, and social development encourages growth in your child as a whole person. In addition to Old Blues, the Family Museum offers Literally Yours for our 4-year-old students.
Literally Yours is a comprehensive early childhood program designed to prepare your child for future success in reading and writing. Reading comes with exposure to words, a chance to practice in a safe environment, and with supportive adult guidance that builds confidence. Our top goal for Literally Yours is to provide a literacy-building environment for your child. Literally Yours
Cost: $615.00
Designed to help children achieve command of symbols and words before they actually begin formal reading. Literally Yours encompasses multidisciplinary techniques including rhymes, songs, word games, fiction and non-fiction, guided reading and phonics, plus lively acting out to enhance verbal skills. Terrific in tandem with Old Blues. Payment: $75 deposit; 9 monthly payments of $60.

This school year adventure begins with hands-on art, science, movement, and a big measure of smiles and experimentation. Activities increase in difficulty throughout the year, shaping up fine and gross motor skills and a real appreciation of good manners, teamwork, and sharing. Payment: $100 deposit; 9 monthly payments of $115.

Old Blues Gallery
Cost: $2125.00
Pre-Kinder kids love Old Blues' emphasis on learning through the arts. Parents love Old Blues for its Kindergarten readiness focus on skills. Kids become world travelers, explorers, scientists, and artists as they make connections between and among ideas, learn to work independently and as a team. They paint, sing, build, mix, measure, and even get weekly dance and movement lessons! Those enrolled in Literally Yours bring their brown bag lunch and stay on site to eat and play before the next class. Payment: $100 deposit; 9 monthly payments of $225.
