May 4, 2013 - Everybody Knows It's Windy
10:00 am: Over the Ledge - The Wind Blew!
Look out...the wind is fierce! You won't believe what is blowing around the sky and Over the Ledge! From balloons to newspaper, see how they all fall!
1:00-3:00 pm: Super Saturday Event - Kites!
Make a kite and try it out. See the science behind making a kite fly! Try flying kites outside (weather permitting!).

Join us for the opening day of Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites(TM)! This exhibit transforms seven beloved and award-winning picture books into three-dimensional learning environments that highlight the six pre-reading skills defined by the Public Library Association and Association for Library Service to Children. (C)2013 Minnesota Children's Museum. All rights reserved. Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites was created by Minnesota Children's Museum. Rehearsals on Tuesday and Wednesday are held in the Family Museum dance studios. No costumes are necessary.

Tech and Dress Rehearsals on Thursday and Friday will be held at St. Ambrose University's Galvin Fine Arts Center. Please arrive 30 minutes early for your scheduled rehearsal.
